Anniversary Celebration
On April 22, 2010, the LqP SWCD Celebrated Conservation with an Open House. In addition to celebrating our 60th Anniversary, we also celebrated the 75th Anniversary of NRCS; the 40th Anniversary of Earth Day; 45 Years of Conservation Work in LqP County for Curtis Nordaune; and National Volunteer Week, where we thanked our Earth Team Volunteers and Rain Gauge Monitors.  Click here, to see Celebrating Conservation pictures.

Each year the Soil and Water Conservation District selects a cooperator as its Outstanding Conservationist

Soil and Water Stewardship Week

The SWCD celebrates Soil and Water Stewardship Week each year from the last Sunday in April through the first Sunday in May by providing pastors stewardship materials to use in their Churches
