Starting Monday 4/21 - Medallion Hunt

THE MEDALLION HAS BEEN FOUND!

CLUE #1:  Woof, woof, woof is what you may hear, but no medallion, if you are near to here.

CLUE #2: Kids love to play on the swings and slides. But this place is not where the medallion is eyed.

CLUE #3: Four different paths, and you’re hot on the trail, Mac will be near, never fail.

CLUE #4: Keep away from plants and dirt, or else you get your feelings hurt.

Starting Monday 4/21 - Shopper Card

Pick up your very own Shopper Card starting Monday April 21st and visit participating businesses listed on the back of the card to make your way through the Pollinators Pathway. (*Indicates card pickup spots.)

Reach 10 stops and you’ve completed your path! Return card to City Office in Madison, City Office in Dawson, or LqP SWCD by 4pm on April 25th to be entered for the Grand Prize!! No purchase necessary.

GRAND PRIZE includes: Mall of America passes, eco friendly items from local retailers, chamber bucks and MORE

Pollinator Pathways Shopper Card Specials: Discounts, offers, and giveaways from various local businesses.

Through Friday 4/25 - Plastic Bag Collection for Area Schools

Earth Day Plastic Bag Recycling Contest for schools, win a pizza party. Deadline April 25th. Bags recycled at The Mercantile.

Tuesday 4/22 - Pollinator Pathways Grant Kickoff in Dawson

 

City of Dawson Pollinator Pathways kickoff event on April 22, 1-6 pm, at Dawson City Hall. Activities and info on the grant program.

Friday 4/25 - Kindergarten tree giveaway

Every Kindergartner gets a chance to take a tree home to plant, plus we will visit them to read A Little Gold Book "Happy Earth Day" on Friday, April 25th. 

Friday 4/25 - Arbor Day Celebration at the Mercantile 5pm with music by Debbie Center starting at 6pm

One year celebration for those that planted a tree in 2024 through the Prairie Eco Links Grant program! 

Saturday 4/26 - Welcome Spring & Newcomers to Madison at the Mercantile 10am - all day

Saturday 4/26 - 3rd Annual 5k - held in Madison
